Make your own seedling pots from old newspapers!
Paper Pot Makers are easy to use and a great way to get kids involved in planting. You use them by rolling one long strip or several shorter ones around the base of the pot maker, press the bottom of the newspaper into the base to mould the bottom of the pot. Slide the paper pot off the pot maker and fill with compost or seed raising mix and you are ready to start planting your own seeds.
The pot will last several weeks depending how thick you make the newspaper and the seedling can then be planted directly into your garden bed. The newspaper biodegrades over time.
Made in England from FSC wood, packaged in a simple cardboard tube, ideal for storing extra pieces of newspaper.
